Change the engine oil after the first 2 operating hours; then every 25 operating hours or yearly.

Run the engine a few minutes before changing the oil to warm it. Warm oil flows better and carries more contaminants

Always disconnect the spark plug wire from the spark plug and hook it onto the retaining post before performing this maintenance procedure.

1.Remove the dipstick.

2. Tip the mower onto the right side to drain the used oil out through the oil fill tube.

3. Slowly pour oil into the oil fill tube until the oil level reaches the FULL line on the dipstick. Do not overfill.

(Example: Max fill: 20 oz., type: SAE 30W detergent oil with an API service classification of SF, SG, SH, or SJ)

Note*** The amount and type of oil varies by type of engine. Consult your specific model's Owner's Manual

4. Install the dipstick securely. Dispose of the used oil properly at a local recycling center.
